The armchair is a modern classic that never goes out of time – since production start in 1950 the chairs has been produced without interruption. With its characteristic y shaped back the chair provides high comfort, good ability to move around, along with being a stylish and modern chair around the dining table. Despite its modest appearance, it is a long process to make an Y Chair; only the corded seat is made of 120 meters of waxed paper twine which has carefully been stringed.
